Terms of Reference - Project Officer Working Party

Please note:  these terms of reference are draft and have not been endorsed by the NSG.  They will be reviewed at the Feb Meeting 

The Project Officer Working Party (POWP) of the Australian Curriculum Framework for Junior Doctors will work with stakeholders to promote the implementation of the ACF by those involved in prevocational medical education. Their activities will include but not be limited to:

• Monitoring of workplace implementation by junior doctors, educators and supervisors
  
• Identification of barriers to implementation and suggested strategies for addressing any identified barriers
  
• Identification of projects required to support the implementation of the ACF by those involved in prevocational medical education.
  
• Facilitation of exchange of information regarding state based ACF initiatives.
  
• Review of proposals from the NSG and provide advice as appropriate.
  
• Liaison with other Working Parties set up under the NSG.
  
• Presentation, through the Chair or a representative, progress reports to the National Steering Group
